First Day of Nepal Maoist Mass Strike








Nepal Maoist called for three day Mass Strike demanding 'public supremacy' from today.
Private and public intuitions, schools, colleges, University, government offices transportation, industry, banks and all other public concerned stations remained close today. There were clashes between security force and Maoist protester in different parts of the country. More than four dozens people were injured in different parts of the country in the clashes. Maoist organized torch rally in the evening in Kathmandu to give pressure for the government. The road of Kathmandu was filled with security forces and protesters.    General labors were just sitting by the road with out any work. Some porters were cutting their nails.

Nepal Maoist Called Nation Wide General Strike


06/12/2009, Kathmandu.
Npeal is under Nation wide general strike " Nepal Banda" called by Maoist. The strike was called against the Kailali incident where five people were killed between police and illegal settelers in a public forest are on 4th December 2009.


















Most of schools, banks, transports, shops, and all the public concerned station were closed due to the strike. People were walking on foot to reach the destination. Only some rickshaws, Cycle, ambulances and vehicles of police were randomly running in the empty road in Katmandu. Most of the cross road section is filled with security forces and Maoist supporters.
